Ventech Industries, the leader in venting technology, is please to announce the creation of a new e-commerce site for its growing list of products, Thermocrete Ceramic Flue Sealant, the
most reliable solution for chimney restoration and chimney repair;
Smoktite, a smoke chamber restoration system; and then Dynacote, an energy conservation fireplace coating.

Looking to freshen and expand its worldwide presence, Mike Varney, president of Ventech, hired Mary McEachern of merry design and Dan O’Donnell of Fifty6 Web Design to collaborate on a series of web sites, all to be under the Ventech umbrella.

Varney was pleased to say that information on the company as well as products, pricing and customer support is now available in a new easily navigated site. Chimney professionals will now be able to order their products directly from the site.Thats a win-win for everyone says Mike.

McEachern, who has been working with Ventech since 2007 brings over twenty years of design and marketing experience to the project. Ventech Industries, a leader in venting technology, is pleased to announce that Darren J. Moore has joined the team as Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Mike Varney, President of Ventech Industries, said Moores expertise, creativity and versatility, made him the obvious choice for the position.

Moore has owned his own company DM Engineering since 1987. During that time, he was directly involved with high level projects for NASA working in conjunction with their engineers in the development of rockets and rocket motors. Moore also worked directly with the United States military developing prototypes allowing helicopter pilots to detect airborne bio-hazards being released to troops on the
ground. He also worked closely with Physical Sciences in Andover, MA, a non-profit consortium of PhDs developing products for the government and NASA.

Varney was pleased to say that with Darren comes the addition of a full machine shop enabling the company to handle a broad range of projects for all the company needs. Equipment that once came from Europe is now made in house which allows for increased quality control, repairs and modifications as the industry demands. With Moore onboard, We now have the best right here, for our customers to deliver to theirs.

Moore will be responsible for the creation and production of the line of accessories for the Smoktite smoke chamber restoration system as well as the new larger, more powerful Commercial Equipment for Thermocrete.

For years Ventech has been the leader in venting technologies, Moore said. It is a great honor to be teaming up with such an innovative company. Our immediate goals for 2009 are to continue to develop and expand into the venting markets with first class products made in Maine. On January 1, 2009 Ventech Industries, A leader in venting technology, officially moved into their new home at
384 Harold L. Dow Highway, Eliot, Maine. The new offices occupy a new energy efficient building with substantially more space.

We just needed more room to continue our growth! says President, Mike Varney about the companys recent move.Our list of products keeps growing. Our staff is growing. Research and development is on-going. So when this opportunity presented itself, it was just too good to pass up.

After years of service to the chimney and venting industry, the company was just busting out of the facility it had occupied since 1997.
Customers were put on notice and everyone involved swallowed hard as the company shut down, packed up and moved everything during the last two weeks of December, 2008.

A few years ago, we reached a point where we had to hire additional help in the manufacturing end of things said Mike. That freed up time and energy for the development of Smoktite, a smoke chamber restoration system, and then Dynacote, an energy conservation fireplace coating. Ventech Industries has always led the way delivering more and better tools for venting technicians. The additional space is very welcome to say the least.

The people of Ventech feel strongly about being able to say MADE IN THE USA and better still, made in Maine! Varney is pleased that the company will continue to prosper in the state of Maine.
